1.1. This Privacy Policy explains how LeadarX collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you visit leadarx.com, register on learn.leadarx.com, or otherwise use any LeadarX service.

1.2. LeadarX is a trading name of Demartechx Ventures, a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria under RC Number 8556793, with its principal place of business in Oyo State, Nigeria. For the purposes of this Policy, Demartechx Ventures is the data controller of your personal data.

1.3. By using the LeadarX website or platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our website or platform.

1.4. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of LeadarX's services more broadly.

2.1. Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: full name, email address, and phone number, provided when you register.
• Profile information: any additional details you choose to add to your profile.
• Payment information: transaction records for course fees. Card details themselves are processed and stored by Korapay, not by LeadarX — see Section 4.2.
• Bank account details: provided only if you request a referral wallet withdrawal.
• Communications: anything you send us directly, e.g. support emails, refund requests, or messages related to your enrollment.
• Capstone and assessment submissions: project work and other materials you submit as part of a course.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

• Course activity data: your progress, attendance, and assessment results on the platform.
• Session and login data: information needed to keep you signed in securely, such as session identifiers.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated as part of normal web traffic, used only for security, debugging, and keeping the platform running.

2.3. LeadarX does not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on leadarx.com or learn.leadarx.com. Any cookies or similar technologies in use are strictly functional (e.g. keeping you logged in) and necessary for the platform to operate. If this changes in the future, this Policy will be updated accordingly.

3.1. We use the personal data described above for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your account and enrollment.
• Delivering course content, classes, and instruction.
• Processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing refunds.
• Communicating with you about your enrollment, classes, payments, and account matters.
• Operating the Student Referral Program, including tracking referrals and processing wallet withdrawals.
• Verifying certificates for graduates and third parties (see Section 3.2).
• Maintaining the security of the platform and preventing fraud or abuse.
• Improving our courses, platform, and student experience.
• Complying with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations under Nigerian law.

3.2. If you graduate and receive a LeadarX certificate, your certificate's verification status (valid or revoked) can be checked by third parties (e.g. employers) at learn.leadarx.com/verify using your unique verification code. Only the minimum information needed to confirm the certificate is genuine is shown — this is a service to protect the integrity of your certificate.

3.3. We do not use your personal data for any purpose incompatible with those listed above without notifying you first.

4.1. LeadarX does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

4.2. Payment data is processed and handled by Korapay (Demartechx Ventures) under Korapay's own privacy policy and terms of service. LeadarX does not directly store, process, or have access to your full card details. Students are advised to review Korapay's privacy policy separately.

4.3. We share limited personal data with third-party service providers strictly for the purpose of delivering LeadarX's services, including:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, for storing platform data.
• Email service providers, for sending account and course communications.
• Video conferencing platforms (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams), for delivering live classes.

These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by confidentiality obligations. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

4.4. We may disclose personal data where required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or other legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of LeadarX, our students, or the public.

4.5. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of Demartechx Ventures' business, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected students before any such transfer occurs and before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5.1. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you with our services.

5.2. Certain data must be retained beyond account closure to comply with legal, tax, financial record-keeping, and dispute-resolution obligations under Nigerian law (for example, payment and transaction records). Such data is retained only for the period required by applicable law.

5.3. Certificate verification records are retained indefinitely, as they exist to allow employers and other third parties to verify the authenticity of a graduate's certificate on an ongoing basis.

6.1. Subject to the retention obligations described in Section 5, you may:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data, most of which you can update directly from your account settings at learn.leadarx.com/settings.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of your personal data.

6.2. To exercise any of these rights, email support@leadarx.com with your request. We will acknowledge your request and respond within 5 working days.

6.3. Please note that some data cannot be deleted immediately if we are legally required to retain it (see Section 5.2). In such cases, we will inform you of what is being retained and why.

7.1. LeadarX takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

7.2. Access to student data within LeadarX is limited to staff and systems that need it to perform their function.

7.3. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your personal data, LeadarX cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7.4. If you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorisation, notify us immediately at support@leadarx.com.

8.1. LeadarX's services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. Where a student under 18 is enrolled with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian (as permitted under our Terms and Conditions), that parent or guardian's consent also covers the collection and use of the student's personal data as described in this Policy.

8.2. LeadarX does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 outside of this arrangement. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate parental consent, please contact support@leadarx.com so we can address it.

9.1. This Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023.

9.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall first be raised informally with LeadarX at support@leadarx.com, in accordance with the dispute resolution process set out in our Terms and Conditions.

10.1. LeadarX reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time as it deems necessary.

10.2. Where changes are significant, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the updated Policy takes effect.

10.3. Minor changes (such as corrections or clarifications that do not materially alter your rights) may be made without prior notice.

10.4. The most current version of this Policy will always be available on the LeadarX website. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
